“Boys Over Flowers” is a beloved Korean drama based on the Japanese manga “Hana Yori Dango.” It aired in 2009 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon, not only in South Korea but also internationally. The series follows Geum Jan-di, a brave and kind-hearted girl from a poor family, who receives a scholarship to attend an elite high school dominated by the rich and powerful. There, she encounters the F4, a group of four wealthy and handsome boys who rule the school and are known for their arrogance and aloofness. Among them is Gu Jun-pyo, the leader of F4, played by Lee Min-ho, who initially clashes with Jan-di but later finds himself falling for her.
