Worst Romantic Movies on Netflix, 2024 UPDATED List
The Kissing Booth 2 (2020)
While “The Kissing Booth” became a classic on the for its cute story-line, it’s sequel was far from as impressive in great chapter 2 of this franchise. It suffers from a far too twisty plot and underdeveloped characters, which makes it a somewhat less satisfying romantic experience. Watch here.
After (2019)
Adapted from the best-seller novel, After follows Tessa and Hardin throughout their tumultuous journey. Even though this film has garnered significant praise from the public, critics argue that narrative wise it is too cliched and conventional and fails to introduce something fresh into romance genre. Falling Inn Love (2019)
However, “Falling Inn Love” (starring Christina Milian) is not one of these seemingly rare and original romantic comedies. Plot predictable and victims of cliches… a mediocre entry into the sordid world of romantic films. Watch here.
The Last Summer (2019)
Title, The Last Summer Synopsis: Featuring an ensemble of stars on the rise or who are already there, “The Girls Of Summer” attempts to nail down that genuine feel of young love and completely misses with a shallow story. Siera Burgess Is A Loser (2018)
Sierra Burgess Is a Loser is not edgy, but that may be the most appropriate word to describe it in comparison to other teen romantic comedies now making defective debuts on Netflix. While the film fails to tackle its themes well, given what precious little there was during her investigation of a disappearing city that concludes with Ellenenstein misinterpreting and abandoning White Gardens after reaping in profits.
