Another celebrity who has been vocal about sexism in Hollywood is Jennifer Lawrence. In 2015, Lawrence penned an essay for Lena Dunham’s newsletter, Lenny, in which she addressed the gender pay gap in the industry. She revealed that she had discovered she was being paid less than her male co-stars, and expressed her frustration at the unfair treatment.
