She was known for her bold on-screen presence and glamorous roles. Some of her successful films like “Baazi,” “Karan Arjun,” and “Sabse Bada Khiladi” garnered huge praise from the audience.
However, her life took a sharp U-turn when her name was associated with drug lord Vicky Goswami. It ultimately brought Mamta under the scanner of law enforcement agencies and the underworld. Reports suggest that as soon as she started receiving threats from the underworld, she had to comply with their demands. With constant fear and threat, Mamta finally moved to Kenya, and so far, she has maintained a low profile.

Soon after her film debut in “Aashiqui” in 1990, she became a crush of the youngsters of the 90s. Anu Aggarwal for her innocence and beauty became an overnight sensation, and she also got a massive fan following. Sadly, Anu’s career was short-lived, her life was upside down when she faced a severe car accident that left her critically injured.
