Striking balance between a more compelling villain played brilliantly here by Alfred Molina who portrayed Doctor Octopus alongside better written story line plus character development Sam Raimi achieved with his first attempt at adapting Spiderman comics into films made “Spider-Man 2” much stronger than what had come before it . This is evident in both emotional complexity displayed throughout narrative arcs as well action scenes that took place within these parameters.

15 Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes (2014)
Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes takes what was great about Rise (complex characters, morally ambiguous storyline) but adds in some ground breaking motion capture performances for good measure! Certainly worth mentioning is Andy Serkis as Caesar though there are others too.
16 The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)

The sixth installment takes everything up several gears – high octane action sequences; intricate plot lines that keep you guessing till end credits roll… plus Tom Cruise still doing his own stunts at 56 years old just adds intensity levels! Also must give credit where due because out of all mission impossible movies made thus far “Fallout” ranks highest for me personally.

Sam Raimi brought back Bruce Campbell as Ash for this one which gave us something truly special indeed since they essentially perfected what worked best about first part especially when it came down to mix between horror/comedy genres! Wes Craven’s sequel cleverly continues with meta-horror commentary whilst giving us another engaging storyline filled memorable performances throughout its duration such as Neve Campbell/ Courteney Cox etc., and yeah sure thing that self-awareness within this movie along side inventive kills definitely made it stand out among other slashers released during late 90s!

28 The Raid 2 (2014)
With harder choreography, deeper plot lines and characters development; it took intense combat scenes up another level than its predecessor did before thematically speaking too much about anything else happening outside those walls. A relentless pace combined with stunning visuals made this movie one heck of a second installment!
29 Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011)
“Kung Fu Panda: Legends Awesomeness” as I like to call it deepened the emotional resonance by telling a more mature storyline with stunning animation. This time around Po goes on his self discovery journey while having some epic battles along way which makes for an even better follow up.
